About Feelosophy

Feelosophy is a Singapore-based children's emotional wellness brand, founded on the belief that no child should have to figure out their feelings alone. It gives children the tools, language and safe space to understand their emotional world, and supports parents and educators in doing the same. Grounded in psychology and counselling, the Emotion Explorer Journal is the first product, with a longer-term vision that includes a children's book series.

About the Emotion Explorer Journal

The Emotion Explorer Journal is a guided journal for children aged 6-12+, with parental co-use for younger children. At over 100 pages, it is undated, so children move at their own pace. Its soft, gentle design uses a calm pastel palette, rounded shapes and nine friendly emotion characters (Joy, Love, Compassion, Anger, Sadness, Fear, Overwhelm, Anxiety and Pride), creating a safe, inviting space for children to open up.

It opens with an author's note to both child and grown-up, then moves through six chapters: Your Emotional Landscape, Learning to Ride Your Feeling Wave, and deep-dives into Anger, Joy, Anxiety and Pride. Each daily page includes three things that happened today, emotions of the day, and rotating check-ins.

What children will learn

  • All feelings are welcome, and no emotion is "bad"
  • How to name what they feel and build a rich emotional vocabulary ("Name it to tame it")
  • Emotions come and go like waves, and "This will pass"
  • How to recognise and understand anger, joy, anxiety and pride
  • A lasting journaling and reflection habit
  • How to process emotions daily through writing
  • Connection with parents by sharing what they feel
  • How to be honest, curious and kind to themselves

Evidence-informed

The journal is grounded in psychology and counselling research on emotional literacy, labelling emotions and reflective journaling, and was created by a psychologist and counsellor with experience working directly with children.
