This traditional Indian lehenga is typically worn during 'Navratri' (nine nights leading up to Indian festival of Dussehra). Women wearing such gorgeous colors adorn the dance floor where they celebrate with folk dance called 'Garba' typical of the state of Gujarat.
Cotton black skirt and top with handmade pom-poms hanging in the 'daaman' (bottom of the top) add a groovy feel to this piece shimmering with faux mirror work on the edges.
Please note: The skirt does not come with a tying string. You may use any regular cloth string to insert in the groove provided in the skirt, as a fastener. We will also send in a jute string fastener as a back-up!
This is a handicraft product made by the local artisans of the beautiful “Pink City” Jaipur in India. Each piece is unique and lovingly created by hand.
