This traditional Indian lehenga is typically worn during 'Navratri' (nine nights leading up to Indian festival of Dussehra). Women wearing such gorgeous colors adorn the dance floor where they celebrate with folk dance called 'Garba' typical of the state of Gujarat.
Cotton bright blue skirt and top with hand stitched beads in both the top and the skirt add a groovy feel to this piece shimmering with mirror work all over. The halter blouse with straps at the back make this piece all the more special and cute-sy!
Condition - C, well used but has a unique character. The shawl has a few missing tassels and the hooks have become rusty with age. Some stitching is also coming out of certain areas. The rest of the dress is still well maintained. Please refer to the images.
